Sight reading is a must for any orchestra member and of coz the standard of reading varies from one player to another. All player need to exceed certain level in reading...

some tips in reading :

* always look at the tricky part, notes or rhythm..

beginning & ending…

* tempo…

* time signature & key signature…

and the rest are auto...

another tip whenever u go for audition of any orchestra…DON’T EVER inform the examiner "THAT YOU ARE A GOOD READER..."
